Marina Červar is located on the west coast of the Istrian peninsula in Červar-Porat, a very small holiday resort just 6 km north from Poreč. The marina is well protected from all types of winds. However, be careful of seiches when tramontane, a strong north wind, and mistral, a SW wind, are blowing. It is open all year round.
The marina has approximately 300 wet berths for boats ranging from 3 to 25 m in length and with a maximal draught of 5 m. It also has 50 dry berths. All berths are provided with electricity and water on the pontoon.
When navigating the shallow waters of Červar Bay, which depths vary from 2m to 11m, be careful of the shoals and islets of Mali Školj and Veli Školj, extending nearly a mile from the south side of the bay entrance. Also, be careful when approaching the marina as its entryway is not entirely visible because of the pier.
There are grocery shops, bakery, post office and a bus station near the marina. The nearest fuel station is in Poreč and Novigrad, about 4 nautical miles from Červar-Porat. The nearest airport and general hospital are in Pula, 70km south from Červar-Porat.
