Marina Parentium is located in Zelena Laguna holiday resort, just 5 km south from Poreč, a small town on the west coast of Istria. Zelena Laguna is connected to Poreč by tourist train, boat, bus and even bicycle. The stretch of land, aptly named Zelena Laguna for its lush green peninsulas, mostly consists of hotels, apartments, campsites and other tourist-oriented facilities. It covers the small area around three coves. Marina Parentium is situated on Cape Sv. Petar (St. Peter) at the entrance of Mulandrija Bay, right in front of the Hotel Parentium. It is mostly well protected from winds of all directions, especially maestral and west winds, although east winds (jugo) can cause some waves in the marina. W and NW swells are also possible. Marina Parentium is open all year round.
The marina has 184 berths for boats ranging from 3 to 20m in length with a maximal draft of 5 m. All berths are provided with water and electricity.
Facilities in Zelena Laguna include: hotels, post office, sport centre, shops, travel agency, charter agency and doctor’s office. Zelena Laguna offers plentiful of options for a great time, including terraces with live music, disco, beach volleyball and football, and waterpark for children. Many of the stone and pebble beaches nearby have been awarded the Blue Flag, a gold standard for beaches.
The nearest fuel station is in Poreč.
Be careful when approaching Marina Parentium as there are numerous rocky islets and shoals nearby. Particularly, be cautious of Zontuja islet which has dangerous shoals extending several hundred metres to the north. The safest approach is from NW, between Zontuja and Regata islets, passing Zontuja at least 500 m to starboard.
