about

D-Marin Mandalina, or simply Marina Mandalina, lies on the southern end of a long peninsula that is located at SE end of the bay of Šibenik, half a mile from the city centre. The city of Zadar is around 62 Km to the NW and Split is 60 Km to the SE. Marina is located within walking distance to the city, but the walk to the city centre is quite unpleasant, especially after dark, so you should better get a taxi, which is always available at the entrance to the marina. Situated on the SE end of a five-mile long inlet of Šibenik Bay, Marina Mandalina offers a great shelter from all winds and is known to be one of the safest marinas in Croatia. D-Marin Mandalina is one of two marinas in Croatia to have been awarded 5 Gold Anchors. It is also a proud owner of the Blue Flag. It is open all year round. It gets very busy and crowded in the months of July and August.

Useful Information

The town of Šibenik has everything a sailor might need, from a shopping centre, hospital, ambulance, pharmacies, big farmer’s market and fish market to beautiful cultural and historic landmarks and tourist attractions. There are also many restaurants, cafes, nightclubs, bars, supermarkets and shops.

The marina is well connected by car, local and international buses. Split Airport and Zadar Airport are both approximately a 40-minute drive from Šibenik.
The Sveti Ante Channel is a narrow channel that leads to the city and the port of Šibenik. The entrance to the channel is south of the small holiday resort of Jadrija. More specifically, between cape Jadrija (NW), Ročni islet (SE), which is a rocky shoal marked with a light beacon, and Sv. Nikola island (E). The narrow channel extends NE for a mile before opening out into the bay of Šibenik. Note that there are many rocks and shoals, which are all marked by lighted beacons or buoys. When exiting the channel, be careful of the big shoal (near Cape Paklena) to the east. Pass widely N of the light beacon. Once in the bay of Šibenik, go south to reach the marina, or half a mile NE to reach the city.

Marina Mandalina is a great base for exploring the nearby Krka National Park and its wonderful waterfalls.
