about

Marina Kaštela is situated in the resort of Kaštela, between the towns of Trogir and Split. Kaštela is an agglomeration of seven small towns in Croatia, each bearing the first name Kaštel, which sprawls along a six-mile stretch of shore on the N side of Kaštela Bay. Marina Kaštela is located between Kaštel Gomilica and Kaštel Sućurac. The marina is relatively new, and some of its facilities are still in development. Sheltered by a 500-metre-long breakwater, Marina Kaštela provides a safe refuge from all winds, although strong NE winds can cause waves and swells.

The marina is open all year round. The busiest time of the year are the months of July and August, although even during those months berths are often available.

Berths

The marina provides 420 wet berths for yachts up to 25 metres in length, all of which are equipped with water and electricity. There are 200 dry berths and 200 are still under construction. Megayachts up to 33 metres in length can moor to the outer side of the pier, where the water is 10 m deep. Water depth in the marina ranges from 2.5 to 8 m. Power supplies available for mega yachts: 32 A; 63A; 125A; 250A and 400A.

The nearby town of Split offers a vast array of facilities, such as pharmacy, ambulance, dentist, veterinarian, hotels, private accommodation, shopping centre, great farmer’s market and fish market, bakeries, nautical equipment shops, supermarkets and restaurants. The nearest general hospital is in Split (7 km), and the nearest airport is Split Airport in Kaštel Štafilić (10 km).

Kaštela is a good base for exploring the attractions of Trogir and Split, both only 20 minutes away by car. All of the seven towns (“Kaštelas”) are connected to Split by bus.
Marina Kaštela is situated on the NE shore of Kaštela Bay, which is entered between Cape Čiovo (eastern end of the Čiovo Island) and Cape Marjan, two miles W of Split. Upon passing the green buoy just north of Cape Marjan to starboard, set your course to 18° which will get you straight to the main entrance of the Marina Kaštela. When approaching the marina, be sure to leave the Galija shoal (marked with a yellow light buoy) to starboard. There are two separate basins in the marina, but the main entrance is on the west side.
