Marina Funtana is located in Funtana, a small tourist and fishing village on the west coast of Istria, between Poreč and Vrsar. Poreč is 6km to the north and Vrsar is about 4 km to the south. Other larger towns and beautiful tourist destinations nearby are Rovinj and Pula. The marina’s 280-metre-long breakwater and pontoons make a great shelter from all winds, especially those of the fourth quadrant. The marina is open all year round.
Marina Funtana has a total capacity of 180 wet berths and 40 dry berths for boats ranging from 5 to 30 m in length. All berths have double moorings, water and electricity. The maximum depth of berth is 4.5 m, while the minimum is 2.5 m.
There are restaurants, shops, cafes, sports centres, cash machine and a post office in Funtana. Nearest fuel station can be found at the marina Vrsar, about 1.5 nautical miles to the south. The nearest airport is in Pula, 40 km south of Funtana.
Be careful when approaching the marina Funtana as there are numerous shoals, rocks and reefs as well as shallow waters on the north side of the bay (called Janjci) and on the south as well, between the islet of Veli Školj and the coast. Both shoals are marked with a post. The safest way to enter Funtana Bay is from the west.
